Genomic medicine's greatest promise — and its greatest challenge — is equity. The benefits of precision medicine have disproportionately reached populations of European ancestry, while communities of color, rural populations, and low-income families face barriers to genetic testing, counseling, and genomics-informed care. Sequence Y'all is a call to action: genomic medicine must serve everyone, or it fails its fundamental promise.
